Where is the Plant Lovers Fair?
On the NSW Central Coast at Kariong Mountains High School, 10 Festival Drive, Kariong NSW 2250.

When is the next Plant Lovers Fair?
The Plant Lovers Fair will return again in 2024 on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of September. Subscribe to our email list to stay up to date on all our plans.

Is there (and why) an entry fee to the Plant Lovers Fair?
Yes. Entry fee for Adults is $15 pp. We also have a two day pass for $22, available online only. Under 18’s free. No concessions. Tickets are sold online via trybooking.com and also at the entry gate (EFTPOS available).  Bus groups are $13 pp – please contact secretaryplf@gmail.com to arrange for Garden Club Bus Group tickets.

Why - to defray the cost of insurance, contracted traffic management, security, marquees, cleaning, donation to school and advertising.

(the event is run by a not for profit association managed by a small committee of volunteers)

How do I arrange bus group pricing?
Please contact secretaryplf@gmail.com to arrange for  bus/coach group bookings.

Can I get there by public transport?
Yes. Here are the directions to do so:

Nearest train station: Gosford
Nearest Bus Stop: Curringa Rd Kariong.

 

Buses run from the North side of Gosford Train Station. Take “Route 34 Gosford – Kariong – Gosford”. Alight at the first bus stop on Curringa Road. Walk back along Curringa Road to Central Coast Highway, crossing the Highway at the traffic lights, and walk approx. 200 metres along The Avenue and turn into Festival Avenue.

Return to Gosford Railway Station from the same Curringa Road bus stop.

 

Can I bring my pet to the Plant Lovers Fair?

No, we are sorry but as our event is held in school grounds we are bound by school rules so no animals or birds are permitted.

Are there any places to stay overnight near the Plant Lovers Fair?
Yes. Gosford RSL owned properties.

​

In addition there is a wide range of local accommodation options and we recommend contacting Central Coast Tourism for details.

​

What will I do with all the plants I might purchase?
We provide a free, undercover plant minding service, the school students and scouts group will be on hand to provide assistance to move your plants to the designated  pick up area.

Is there an ATM nearby?
An ATM service will be provided on-site.

​

Is the Plant Lovers Fair wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is Wheelchair accessible but please note that the grassed areas throughout the car parking (undeveloped land) is uneven and the exhibitor areas ground may be soft on the day.

Will there be rest areas for visitors?
Seating is provided at various shaded, key spots throughout the Fair location.
